Emvizion

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Emvizion LLC ("Emvizion," "we," "us" or "our") collects through emvizion.com and our AI project scout, Viz (together, the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It also explains how we handle data inside the software we build for clients.

If you have questions, email hello@emvizion.com.

1. The short version

  • We collect what you tell us (through Viz or email) and basic technical data needed to run and protect the Site.
  • Viz is an AI chatbot. Your conversation is saved, and a person on our team reads it so we can reply.
  • We use your information to respond to your project inquiry and run our business. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
  • Please don't share sensitive information (passwords, card or account numbers, health information, Social Security numbers) with Viz.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: your name, email address and, if you choose, your company name.
  • Project information: what you tell Viz or write to us about your project, such as your idea, the type of software, who will use it, what it replaces, the features you need and your timeline.
  • Chat transcripts: the full text of your conversation with Viz, and the project brief it drafts from that conversation, including a reference number (for example, EMV-1234).
  • Free resources: when you ask for a free tool, guide or template on our Learn pages, your name, email, which resource you asked for, your answers to the tool (for example, your AI Readiness Score answers or calculator numbers) and whether you asked for our email series.
  • Emails and other messages: anything you send to hello@emvizion.com or share with us in follow-up conversations.
  • Account and sign-up details: if you sign up for a plan on the Site, your first and last name, company, email address, phone number (optional), the plan you chose and its payment status. Your password is stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we cannot see it.
  • Payment information: if you pay online, you enter your card or bank details on a checkout page run by Stripe, our payment processor. Those details go to Stripe, not to us; we receive confirmation of the payment and identifiers for your Stripe customer record. Invoices you pay by bank transfer are handled through our bank.
  • Campaign tags: if you reach the Site from a link with campaign tags (such as utm_source), we save those tags and the first page you visited with your project brief or sign-up, so we know which of our campaigns brought you.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. Our hosting provider collects some of this in server logs.
  • Security and abuse-prevention data: we use your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent to Viz in a short period, which protects the Site from abuse.
  • Cookies and local storage: we use what is needed for the Site to work, such as keeping your chat session active and remembering settings like "Pause Viz." We do not use advertising cookies.
  • Analytics: if you agree in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, where visitors come from and which buttons are used, so we can improve the Site. Until you agree, Google Analytics runs without cookies and sends only limited, cookieless signals, as Google's consent mode allows. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the Site.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not submit it.

3. How Viz works

Viz is an automated chatbot that uses artificial intelligence. It is not a person. When you type a message, your conversation is sent to an AI model provider, which generates Viz's reply and helps organize your answers into a project brief. When you send the brief, we save it with the transcript and a member of our team reads it.

Because Viz's replies are generated automatically, they may be inaccurate. Viz may mention our published package prices, but it cannot give a quote, commit to dates or make agreements for us.

We do not use your chats to train our own AI models. Our AI providers process your messages under their own terms to provide the service to us, and we choose providers whose business terms restrict using customer data to train their models.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your inquiry and send you your project brief and confirmation;
  • evaluate your project, prepare a scope and proposal, and communicate with you about it;
  • provide services if you become a client, and manage our business relationship, including invoicing;
  • operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site and Viz, including preventing spam, fraud and abuse;
  • understand, in general terms, what kinds of projects people ask about; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

We may send you follow-up emails about your inquiry. When you ask for a free resource, we email it to you and save you as a contact; we only send you our email series if you tick the box asking for it. We will not add you to marketing emails unless you ask to receive them or we otherwise have your permission, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only in these situations:

  • Service providers that process data on our behalf, under contracts or terms that limit how they can use it. These include:
    • website hosting, database and backend services (currently Lovable and Lovable Cloud and their infrastructure providers);
    • AI model providers that power Viz (accessed through Lovable AI);
    • Stripe, which processes online payments when you sign up for a plan;
    • Google, which provides Google Analytics, if you agree to analytics cookies;
    • email delivery services, used to send brief notifications and confirmations (for example, Resend);
    • messaging providers, including Meta (Facebook Messenger and Instagram), used to exchange messages with you when you contact us that way, and to receive the details you submit through our Facebook or Instagram lead forms;
    • our email, calendar, file storage and business software providers (currently Microsoft 365, which we use to email you and schedule meetings, and accounting software if you become a client).
  • Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect our rights, safety or property, or that of others.
  • Business transfers: if Emvizion is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
  • With your permission: for any other purpose you agree to.

6. How long we keep information

  • Project briefs and chat transcripts that do not lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we have context if you come back, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Client records: for as long as you are a client and afterward as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes, typically up to 7 years.
  • Server and security logs: for a limited period set by our hosting providers, generally no more than 12 months.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.

7. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls that prevent the public from reading stored project briefs, limits on who on our team can see submissions, and keeping access keys out of the public website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information, including your chat transcript and brief; and
  • stop sending you marketing emails.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or other U.S. state privacy laws, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it) and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

To make a request, email hello@emvizion.com with the subject "Privacy request." We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. You may use an authorized agent, and if we decline your request you may ask us to reconsider. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and no later than 45 days.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: we do not track you across other websites. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, these signals do not change how we handle your data, but we honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out request where the law requires.

9. Visitors outside the United States

Emvizion is based in Florida, and the Site is operated in the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your information on these legal bases: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (responding to your inquiry), our legitimate interests (running and securing the Site and our business), your consent (where we ask for it), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults and businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Data in the software we build for clients

When we build or maintain software for a client, that software may store information about the client's employees, customers and other users. In that role, we act as a service provider (or "processor") for the client. The client controls that data and decides how it is used, and our handling of it is governed by our Services Agreement with the client, not by this policy. Consistent with our approach that clients own their product and data, we access client data only as needed to build, support, secure and maintain the software, or as the client directs, and we do not sell it or use it for our own purposes.

If you are a user of software we built for one of our clients and you have a question about your data, please contact that company directly. We will assist our client in responding.

12. Third-party websites

The Site links to other websites, including those of clients featured in "Recent work." We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. Please review their privacy policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If we make significant changes to how we use personal information, we will post a notice on the Site or contact you directly where appropriate.
