How we work
No surprises. Here's exactly what happens once you start.
Your team
Every plan has a dedicated product owner who plans the work with you and leads every review; you talk to the people building your software, not an account manager. With them: a lead developer, a backend and a frontend developer, a tester who checks every change before it goes live, and a cybersecurity specialist who reviews what we build. Essentials and AI training are handled by your product owner directly.
Every two weeks
Plan
We agree what fits in your days for the sprint, written down before anyone writes code.
Build
Our developers build it using the best AI coding tools available.
Review
Every change is reviewed by an engineer before it's merged.
Test
Our tester checks it against what we agreed. You approve it before it goes live.
Release
It goes live with a way to roll back if anything looks wrong.
Keep it healthy
We watch for errors and keep everything up to date between sprints.
When something breaks
- Something critical, like the system is down: we respond the same business day and keep working until it's fixed.
- Something important but with a workaround: we respond the next business day and schedule it into the current sprint.
- Small changes and questions: handled in your regular sprint work.
You own it
- The code is yours as it's paid for, in a repository you control.
- Hosting, database and domain accounts are in your name.
- Everything is documented, with a handover session if you ever move on.
- We'll sign a mutual NDA before you share anything sensitive.
Your data and AI
We use AI coding tools only on business or commercial plans whose terms say your code and data aren't used to train their models, and where a tool has a privacy or no-training setting, we keep it on. Ask us for the list of tools we use and their terms. Your app's AI runs on your credits, and every month you see exactly what it used.
Talking to us
We reply within 1 business hour (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm ET). Outside those hours, by 10am ET the next business day. That's a first reply from a person, not a fix; fixes follow the priorities above. Every client update comes from your product owner.
Commitment
- Engineering plans have a three-month minimum, then 30 days' notice.
- Essentials is month to month once your site is live.
- If priorities change mid-sprint, work we haven't started gets re-planned at no cost.
- Unused days carry over on Build and Platform.
How you pay
Card or bank transfer. Smaller plans can be paid online when you sign up. For engineering plans, we send a monthly invoice you can pay by bank transfer.
